Living in the house during a renovation
Many clients stay in their homes while we work. We phase the job so you always have a working bathroom and some kind of kitchen, and we agree dust control, working hours and access with you up front.
Structural changes
Removing or moving walls often means new beams and lintels, and sometimes plans. Where a change is structural, we involve a structural engineer so it's done and signed off properly.

Full home renovations: common questions
Do I need plans to renovate?
Cosmetic work (new finishes, a kitchen or bathroom in the same position) usually doesn't need plans. Structural changes, new openings in external walls and any increase in floor area usually do. We'll tell you on site which applies to your job.
Can you renovate while we live there?
Yes, in most cases. We phase the work and keep essential rooms usable.
